Flat is well located in old town. Outside of the tourist hot spot, however great for those looking to live with locals. Everyone in the apartment block is extremely helpful. Apartment is functional however worth keeping in mind that it is a little smaller than lit looks and balcony will only fit 3 people.
Lindo apto. Bien decorado, moderno y bien ubicado.
This is a very unique apartment, built in the modern style. It has a really cool vibe, and makes for a great cliche while staying in the old city of Cartagena. Only downside was the noise level, but I have a feeling this was due to it being New Years when we were there. Other than that it was great.
Ignacio's place was a unique one night stay. The location was perfect for our family of 5 on our last night in Cartagena. The duplex is located in an apartment community where locals live. There is a small convenience store on site and it is located across the street from Las Bóvedas marketplace (perfect to pick up those last minute gifts!). Check in was easy and communication was with Ignacio and his team was great. Wifi was good. The duplex itself is two main spaces that looked to be professionally cleaned and maintained. Three notes (that for most will not be a factor): 1) stairs from first floor to second are steep; 2) downstairs king bed is on harder side (likely my own sensitivity) and 3) Chiva buses pass by until about 11pm (though after ten they are quiet). Overall it was a nice change from hotel life and allowed our family to stay together on our last night in Colombia.
