Live the real Puerto Rico. Nice efficiency apartment in back of an old style home, ca. 1970's. Quiet neighborhood located on the third block from the beach. Close enough to walk, far enough for good parking & Loiza street access (main st). Fridge, stove, oven, microwave, wi-fi, water tank cistern & solar water heater. High ceilings, no A/C needed. Walking distance to Ocean Park Beach, Fast Foods, Walgreens, Pubs, Kasalta bakery, seafood and fusion restaurants ect.
When leaving the apartment; please turn off all lights, fans and ensure stove burners or any other open flame source(s) are off. No loud music, TV or disruptive behavior as the apartments are pretty close to each other. Federal, state and municipal laws must be observed at all times. I kindly ask you to honor some basic house rules:
*As this is a private apartment within a house (where I live) please act courteous and treat the place with respect.
*Please do not flush any paper or other health products, there are waste bins (with liners / bags provided) on the bathroom and kitchen for such purpose. Trash is deposited in the large, sealed, blue container located on the common area, which I keep in excellent sanitary conditions.
*There's RECYCLING for paper, plastics and aluminum. Just give them to me and I'll handle it for your convenience.
*I am not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses or anything that might happen to you while staying here.
*No smoking anywhere.
*No heavy drinking allowed.
*A set of clean towels & bed linens are supplied weekly.

I'm the quintessential beach lover, sandals person. Have lived most of my life in this neighborhood and won't change it because to me it's a diamond in the rough. I've also lived in upstate New York and Canada where still have some very good friends.
Will like to point out my fondness for the arts, the ocean, surfing, boating, flying, skateboarding, DH ski, sledding, bicycles, motorcycles and rc toys. Yes, the only difference between men and boys is the price of the toys.
As your host I'd be more than glad to introduce you to our rich culture, we are a blend of three very different races and cultures each with its own "sazón" seasoning. There's a wide variety of restaurants just a short walk away, or the Puerto Rico Art Museum about 8 blocks distance and of course Old San Juan and the castles as well as the house where the Piña Colada was invented.
So, if interested in the real Puerto Rico; do not hesitate to contact me.
