The guest room is adjoined to our house with a separate access. It has exposed stone walls and a tiled floor with underfloor heating. As my house is very old, parts dating back to the eighteenth century, the ceilings are quite low.
The bed can be made up as either a Superking or two single beds. Please let me know which you prefer at time of booking.
Duvets and pillows are all feather down. Please let me know if you have an allergy and I can make up the room with synthetic duvets.
Guests have a separate access to the guest room. In the room is an en suite wet room with lavatory and sink. There is a locked door between the guest room and the rest of the house.
The room has a wall mounted flat screen television with freeview tv.
If there is room in our gated driveway, guests are welcome to park their car in it.
I provide tea, coffee and fresh milk in the guest room. There is a kettle and Nespresso machine with coffee capsules. There is also a 2 slice electric toaster supplied.
I also supply home made granola and packets of muffins or crumpets which guests are welcome to have as breakfast. There are also biscuits for snacking in the room.
I do not provide a breakfast other than the above.
There is a lovely village pub, The Bat and Ball, just 2 minutes away. You can book to have breakfast there if it is a cooked breakfast that you want. Also there is a nursery close by (Mill View Garden Centre, Wheatley) that also serves a cooked breakfast).
- We have a swimming pool in our garden. If convenient, guests can use the pool at their own risk. Please note children must be supervised at all times in and around the pool.
- We have a well trained German Shepard Dog. He is well behaved and is not allowed in the guest suite.
- No loud music please
