We booked our visit to Mostar as a last minute trip, and as we were looking through the available options on AirBnB Dajana’s house really caught our attention. It looked very new, and we like the fact that it had private gated parking.
The place turned out to be great and Dajana was a wonderful host. We were driving from Dubrovnik, and we messaged her when we were on our way. She met us at the apartment to greet us and give us the keys. She was very friendly and helpful. There was a burnt out light bulb in one of the bedrooms, and we also asked for a hairdryer and a clothes drying rack. She took care of everything the same day.
The apartment is new, about 3 years old. It is very close to shopping center, grocery stores and numerous restaurants. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to Stari Grad, the Old Town center. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, even though there was a club nearby that played music, but we could not really hear it inside. It also felt very safe, we walked around every day until late evening, and had not concerns as we were walking back home.
The kitchen is large, has lots of cabinets, sofa with a coffee table and a large eating area. We did not use much of the kitchen utensils, a couple of plates and silverware, since we mostly ate out and just used refrigerator for drinks & snacks.
Mostar temperatures were very, very hot on the days we were there. The AC wall unit is located in the kitchen area, but we kept the doors to the bedrooms open, so that the cool air could get there.
The beds were comfortable, as well as the pillows, a bit large, but not bad. There was plenty of closet space and easily accessible outlets for charging stuff.
In the bathroom, there was a washing machine, that worked very well. A water heater, which was not very large, but heated up very quickly, so there was no problem with hot waster shortage. Everything worked just fine.
There was a good Wi-Fi connection. Overall, happy with our stay!!!
