Feel at home in Auckland with us. A very comfortable room with a cosy queen bed is waiting for you in our beautiful old house. You'll love the artistic and relaxing feel of our family home close to the CBD. We have good public transport (busses and train) in Ellerslie. A location that is very convenient to get into the city or to Mt Smart stadium. The village down the road offers a great selection of cafés, restaurants, bars and shopping facilities for your convenience.
Get inspired living in an artists residence. Our beautifully renovated 1920s house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a seperate toilet, an open kitchen and a cosy lounge & dining area.
Our guest room is spacious and suffused with light. We have good Wifi but no TV. There are a queen bed with a comfortable latex mattress, a little desk, a chair and a huge wardrobe big enough for 2 people traveling. You may borrow a second chair if needed – please ask. Guests are very welcome to enjoy our lovely deck and garden. There is one guest park for 1 vehicle on our drive to the left of the garage.
Our guests bathroom is for your exclusive use as we use our ensuite bathroom for the family. A seperate toilet is shared with guests and visitors.
Our tap water is purified drinking water as our whole house water filter filters out chlorine, fluorides and other particles.
Should you travel with bulky items like a surfboard or bicycle it will be possible to find some space in the garage.

We are a well traveled family and rather busy with our lives but also quite social. We like hearing about your whereabouts and enjoy conversations over a cup of tea.
Should you need a lift to or from the airport that may be arranged for a small fee but there are professional shuttle services from the airport.
We are a family of 3 with a delightful little dog 'Ginger'. My 10 year old daughter goes to the local Waldorf school. She will have friends visiting at times.
Our house is about 100 years old and there ain't no locks to the rooms but it is in very good nick, warm and dry, modernised and beautifully decorated. However the front and back door of this 1920s home do lock. We have an alarm and the house will be armed when we are out.

My background is German and I am living with my family in Auckland for the past 11 years. I am fairly busy juggling family, household, garden and art studio for my own art practise.
We like good food and as we are an adventurous bunch we like all kinds of foods but also diverse activities i.e. camping. All of us do Martial Arts. Both Rob and I practise and teach Taiji, Siena and Rob also do Capoeira and surf. I myself prefer to swim if the beach allows for that.
