Welcome in my cosy home in De Pijp in Amsterdam. I like to share my home with fellow travelers when I'm away. It is very conveniently located near many restaurants, canals, parks and musea (Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh museum are just a short walk!).
I have a cute garden where you can relax after a day of sightseeing and enjoy a home made dinner (or takeaway, there's many great places around!).
The bed is small, 140cm, so only for cosy couples or single travellers. See you!
I don't own a tv but have fast WiFi so you can stream Netflix on your laptop. Sitting and relaxing is the most important thing in my home, but I deliberately leave a lot of open space, so it feels very spacious (and you can exercise in the living room if you like ;-)). The kitchen has everything you need. Just grab whatever you want, but please leave it like you found it and replace stuff that's empty.
My home is on the ground floor, so no need to climb stairs. The door is a bit of a challenge to open and close, just pull it when twisting the key and then push it to open. You're really staying in my home, I trust you to respect it like that. You can stay everywhere but please keep in mind that the garden is very noisy, everyone can hear your conversation and after 10pm it should be nice and quiet.

I will do my best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. When you arrive I'll try to be there so we can meet. It is my home I'm sharing, but I also like to share my knowledge of the city. If anything goes wrong I'll make sure I or someone else will help you with it.
My upstairs neighbours can be loud on the stairs and you can hear this, it's just one of those perks living in original Amsterdam.
This is my home! I love to share it with you, but please treat it (and my neighbours) with care. I prefer it when you don't wear your shoes inside. I don't ask for a cleaning fee but just to leave my home as you found it. Turn the dishwasher on before you leave. There's plenty of cleaning supplies under the sink in case you need it. In the garden everyone can hear you very well, so keep it down specially after 11pm.
The stairs leading to the appartments above mine are loud, well the people on the stairs can be noisy really. Also the bedroom is at the street, so you can hear traffic (very little at night) and people passing by. The windows are double glass, so it's not too bad, but if you're a super light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs :-).
You can smoke in the garden, even when it rains because the balcony of the upstairs neighbours will keep you dry.
I'm from Amsterdam. I'm clean, honest and easy going. I studied human geography and absolutely love cities but also the escapes out of the city :-)
