A great converted attic apartment in a 1900's house. Our house is within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, local breweries, grocery store, SpectrUM Discovery Area, Missoula Art Museum, Zootown Arts Community Center, Clark Fork River, McCormick Park, Ogren Park (Osprey Stadium), Caras Park, St. Patrick Hospital and other Missoula attractions.
Our house was built in the early 1900's. It has gone through a series of remodels, prior to our purchase of the home. The previous owner went to great lengths to have new siding milled to match the original design. We are continuing to make updates to the interior and we have enjoyed working on this gem and living in a neighborhood where others are bringing life back to an old Missoula neighborhood.
A couple quirky things to note:
The bathroom has a custom tile shower/bath and toilet, but does not have a sink. The kitchen sink accommodates bathroom uses.
Also, the last flight of stairs is fairly steep. Because it is a converted attic space, the ceiling has a steep slope and the headroom is low.
Our guests have a privet entrance to the top floor, separate apartment in a converted early 1900's home.
