Keeping synergy with nature, the villa was constructed with granite stone found in-situ. The interior is plastered with a traditional mud-plaster made from pine needles and clay, which helps keep the house insulated.
We have an organic garden and a dairy that supplies its kitchen with wholesome vegetables and dairy produce. The villa efficiently disposes organic waste through vermi-composting along with limited use of plastic.
Stroll through the landscaped gardens. Take your pick from any of the fruit bearing trees - peaches, nectarines, plums, cherries, oranges, pomegranates, passion fruit, grapefruits and strawberries amongst others. A conscious effort is made to cultivate the fruits and vegetables without using artificial fertilizers.
The property offers four spacious rooms that marry tradition with modern comforts. Each room is furnished with period furniture including exquisitely carved beds. Every unit has an independent entrance and two separate sit-outs that offer a view of the magnificent Dhauladhars.
A love for authenticity and nature is evident in the eco friendly construction. Whilst the interiors of the house flaunt a colonial feel and Victorian decor, the green acres outside have been transformed into a mature garden with a riot of exotic plants and flowers.
A shared love for the music and arts is evident in the many musical soirees that are held in the small amphitheatre during the summer months. Connoisseurs of good food and fine wine are in for a treat as your hosts are passionate about fine dining.
