After check in we weren’t on the property, so I’m not sure why you felt we were looking over your shoulder. We take guest privacy seriously and wouldn’t want to cramp anyone’s holiday.
Sorry to hear that you were upset by our firewood. We hand cut, split and stack just enough for our own use at our various locations. As we heat with wood we go through a lot. It’s an enormous effort, but I love it as it means we can heat with local wood rather than with oil. We simply don’t have the time to then cut, split and stack wood for the hundred or so guests we’ll host over the winter, so guests provide their own. We make sure they know this in advance, and it’s simple enough to grab some at the grocery on the way in.
I know you were unhappy about paying for your group. You booked for one guest, then told me you would actually bring 4-5. We can’t host large groups for the price of a solo traveller, and our rates are clear and accurate in our listing.
Finally, as you know, I had to ask for your name because you signed messages in two different first names and your airbnb profile was in a third. None of these included a surname. It started to seem like a third party or fraudulent booking. You were able to explain your multiple names, and we were happy to host you. Unfortunately after you left we found that you had gone into an area marked “private” and taken things. This is a violation of the trust that is the basis of airbnb rentals.
