Book your luxury private hideaway Villa here! So gorgeous it was featured on Airbnb's official Instagram account. Three-bedrooms, loft style design, gigantic kitchen, cozy lounge, an infinity swimming pool, and a huge lawn. This one of a kind industrial-style loft features a 6m high ceiling and a rustic/vintage interior design style, set amidst lush rice terraces, Ubudian jungle, and a view to three volcanoes. Great for traveling groups or family looking for that perfect Ubud getaway!
TRAVELING WITH A GROUP?
Are you traveling with family in tow? Or are you a group of friends looking for a place to spend your vacation in Ubud? If yes, then this place is for you.
The loft has three bedrooms. The master bedroom is located on the west wing of the loft. It features a super king size bed (2x2) with King Koil mattress. The master bedroom also has en-suite bathroom with walk-in closet and a beautiful vintage copper bath tub, as well as its own private balcony with direct view to the volcanoes.
The other two bedrooms are located in a private quarter, at the east wing of the villa. The two bedrooms share their own private deck, a long-wooden deck overlooking the jungle and the pool. One bedroom has a super king bed (2x2m), and another bedroom has bunk bed. Both bedrooms in the suite have large windows, but also equipped with aircos. The suite quarter has its own shower and toilet.
LOVE TO COOK?
My most favourite part of the villa is the kitchen. It's a social kitchen with two oversized islands, perfect for you if you'd like to cook during your stay in Ubud. Our in-house staff could also help you with the grocery.
CHIC, SECLUDED, PRIVATE?
Most "private" villas in Ubud are located in a compound. This loft is located in a 1250m private property which is accessible only to you, surrounded by lush rice terraces, tropical jungle and a small river.
HERE FOR THE PEACEFUL, TRANQUIL SIDE OF UBUD?
If you're looking to avoid Ubud's overcrowded, noisy, buses-infested and touristy downtown, then this place is just right. Located 5km south of the famous Monkey Forest Sanctuary (the centre of Ubud), this villa is nestled in a quiet little village, away from the hustle and bustle. Here, you're surrounded with the nature; rice field and little river, coconut trees, and a view to three volcanoes. Here, you can hear the sound of the crickets, little frogs, birds (and dogs - we have two dogs at the property). And at night, when the sky is clear, our poolside deck is a perfect place for stargazing, and sometimes the fireflies visit us too.
LOVE OPEN-PLAN LIVING?
The villa features a 6m high ceiling, an open-plan free flowing spaces, with quirky interior designs style. Steel, concrete, glasses, and lots of wood, this is not your typical Indonesian-style Joglo bungalow. If you love loft-style architecture with some Indonesian touch, then you will love our villa.

PARKING & CAR ACCESS
There is a 200m narrow road leading to the villa - the road is is paved but is very narrow (180cm). We really recommend you come to our house either with a private driver (drop off 200m from the house) or your scooter/motorcycle. We do NOT recommend you driving your own car to our house because of the road access.
Our loft is surrounded by rice field, and framed by the river and jungle. We're also tucked and hidden in a small Balinese village, away from the tourist quarters of Ubud. Here's a few important things that you will need to know about the area:
- RICE FIELDS CHANGE COLOURS
The rice paddy is alive and breathing. It goes through different cycles where the landscape around you will change colours depending on the season.
At the early stage of its cycle, the landscape will be filled of muddy earth and you will see farmers ploughing the fields, often hemmed by dozens of white herons flying around.
Once all the land has been ploughed, paddy is planted, and water is streamed to the field. This is when the loft will look like it's surrounded by body of water.
Then the paddy starts to grow, and with its growth, come different colours. At the early stage of its growth, you will see bright green, then as it matures, the landscape will turn to golden, and then eventually dark brown.
The whole cycle usually lasts 3-4 months. So when you're staying at our loft, the view that you will see from your suite will change depending on the season.
- SMOKE & FIRE
Following the harvest, the farmers clear the fields to prepare them for a new cycle. This is when the straws were burnt, and the smoke rises. The burning usually lasts for 2-3 hours and depending on where the wind may blow, this might cause inconvenience for the dwellers of our loft. This is however, a part of the reality in living so close to the nature, and we have prepared a blower in our loft in the case of our guests would like to use it to keep the smoke away.
- INSECTS AND THEIR ALLIES
Living so close to the nature, we do have living creatures crisscrossing our paths every once so often. In the dawn you will see hundreds of dragonflies, but at night you might also encounter some geckos. You will also hear crickets (or see different types of insects), and sometimes fireflies are also spotted around. There's not a lot of mosquito here, but it's always good to keep mozzy repellent handy, you never know!
- We really recommend you come to our house either with a private driver or your scooter/motorcycle. We do NOT recommend you driving your own car to our house.
- Our two dogs: La Vache and T-Rex are very friendly. They live in our garden, and are NOT allowed indoor. That being said, you will encounter them every time you're entering or exiting the property. Please be mindful and keep the front gate closed at all times (some of them are escape artists!).
- No smoking is allowed in the lounge/sofa and inside the bedrooms. Smoking in the dining/kitchen area is tolerated.
