To access apps on the Samsung TV, follow these steps:
1. When you turn on the Samsung TV, look at the bottom of the screen to see the installed and available apps displayed in the app bar. The app bar is the row of icons at the bottom of your TV screen where all your installed apps appear.
2. Use the arrow buttons on your remote to move left or right along the app bar at the bottom of the screen.
3. Highlight the app you want to open by stopping on it, then press the "Enter" or "OK" button on your remote to select it.
4. After opening an app, you can explore its content, such as channels, shows, or films, by navigating with the arrow buttons and selecting using "Enter" or "OK".
5. Specifically, in the Samsung TV Plus app (Samsung's free live TV service), you can browse several live TV channels. This app is different from others like Netflix or YouTube, as its focus is on offering a variety of live channels without a subscription.
6. Remember to use the remote control to navigate between the different apps and channels, and to make your selections.
Tip: The sidebar can be accessed by pressing the left arrow on your remote when inside an app. The sidebar is a menu that slides out from the left side of the screen with additional options.
How to Open Your Prime Video Account on Our TV
1. On your mobile phone: Download the Prime Video app from the Apple Store and sign in to your account. This allows your phone to serve as your authentication device.
2. Make sure both your phone and TV are connected to the same internet network. This helps them communicate securely and ensures the login process works smoothly.
3. On your TV: Click on the Prime Video app (usually found on the bottom bar of the TV, where the list of apps is). This opens the Prime Video interface on your TV.
4. When the Prime Video screen opens, navigate to the sidebar by pressing the left arrow on your remote and click on the name that is currently logged in (probably Teofilo). This step accesses account options for the app.
5. Select Settings and scroll down through all the options until you find SIGN OUT. This allows you to prepare the TV app for a fresh login.
6. Click SIGN OUT. This ensures that any previous account session is closed before logging in again with your credentials.
7. Troubleshooting: If you have trouble connecting your phone and TV to the same network, try restarting both devices or checking your Wi-Fi settings. If the code does not appear on your TV, make sure the Prime Video app is updated to the latest version.
8. Confirm that YES, you want to sign out. This step finalizes the sign-out process and gets the TV ready for a new login.
9. On your TV: Return to the sidebar and select Log In. This signals to the app that you want to sign in with your account.
10. A code will appear on the TV. This code is necessary to link your TV to your Prime Video account securely.
11. On your mobile phone: Open the Prime Video app (already on the same internet network and logged in with your name) and enter or confirm the code shown on your TV. This completes the process, connecting your account to the TV.
