I'm drawn to creative expression and natural beauty. Places where you're likely to find me: kitchens, book stores, nature, keyboards, dinner parties, crafters' bench, water, ballet bars, mics.
Since 2000 I've made Medford home and I've been fortunate to live in many other places too: Quebec, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Alberta, Indiana and New Hampshire.
By trade I'm a bit multi-media. At present I'm a writer, folk artist, designer and your airbnb host. I've also enjoyed a diverse and rewarding career as a public relations and marketing consultant in health, energy, higher education, and urban and economic development.
While living in New Hampshire, I had the pleasure of hosting local NPR news programs and also produced and hosted a human interest television talk show. During that time was introduced to percussion and played on the porch and lantern circuit. Also spent five glorious years singing with the Songweavers which is a 200-member women's accapella choir.
In my spare time I enjoy travel. Some of the more memorable places that I've visited are; Sunrise and coffee on the open fire at Cape Smokey (Cape Breton Island) Falafel in the Marais (Paris) Collecting Baltic rocks in Lubbek (Germany) Train travel alongside American Bald Eagle flying flock (White Rock, British Columbia) The man and a racoon family chomping on potato chips from Styrofoam cups in companionable silence (Stanley Park Vancouver) and kayaking in a giant sea otter sanctuary in Pacific Grove (California)
