This is a bonus bedroom to rent only if the other two listings are taken. (Art and the Garden, Colorful Whiteaker Neighborhood). My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. This is where I sleep when the there listings are full.
Also suitable for older children with parents. Extra family space if needed in conjunction with the listing Art and the Garden. This loft/attic bedroom access is right off the large bedroom and bath at the rear of the house.
- The stairs are steep/narrow.

Travel is important to me . So is being a good host. I have been a client of Airbnb for six years, as a guest in several countries as well as nationally. When I am in someone else's home - whether in New York or Morocco, I get an instant invitation to become part of the neighborhood.
Can't live without art, my garden, travel, good food, music, film. Love France, Italy, Thailand , Cambodia, Mexico, Haiti, (and many more - you get the idea).
As my guest you will enjoy fresh flowers when available; a really good breakfast: organic fruit, yogurt, eggs, cereals are among current offerings. The kitchen and pantry are at your disposal. Also, no charges for cleaning, extra guest, etc. That includes a pickup/dropoff at the airport or train station if needed.
I love living in Eugene, and in the Whiteaker. The Whit is about as good as diversity gets in Eugene. From special occasion, high end dining to budget fine food, you can find something within less than a five minute walk.
My mission statement for Bikefrance was 'providing the best tour available, regardless of price.' I do not spend energy on things I cannot do something about.
I hope you have read this far. I am not a great housekeeper - of course linens are clean and things are relatively tidy. There is clutter. I am ok with clutter. I will not use deadly pesticides in order to give you a false sense of security. If you see something that needs attention, let me know right away. I am accessible when I have guests.
I have instant reservation - but I expect you to include something about yourself: purpose of your visit, what you hope to find in Eugene, what you expect of me as a host, etc.
I think rejecting a person as a guest for race, ethnic, etc is deplorable. That said, I do like to see a picture of a new guest. When the doorbell rings, it is reassuring and a happy event to see a familiar face. And I will reiterate: I am not a hotel. This is not a hotel. I have been receiving guests into my home - wherever it was - for over fifty years. It has been transformed with Airbnb - and that change is agreeable .
