Built by FlowMotion Trailbuilders, this unique & private home is nestled in Forever Wild property, on the edge of Coldwater Mountain. Designed to accommodate a large group of mountain bikers, the 38+ mile IMBA Epic system is accessible directly from the house.
You may sip your morning coffee or evening brew on a private back patio with a firepit, a screened in porch, or a deck that sits high atop a hill.
Special features include a firepit & outdoor gathering area.
This house is protected with a fully monitored ADT alarm system, of which each guest will have a personalized access code.
The property is less than 3 miles from the Anniston Trailhead, many restaurants, a microbrewery, and a bike shop.
Just a 9 minute bike ride to the Amtrak train station, and a 15 minute bike ride to downtown Anniston, you can have nature at your backdoor and convenience at your fingertips.
The house has 4 beds inside, a 350 sq.ft. screened-in porch, 4 tent sites, and a dedicated RV spot if you’re bringing the whole crew. A laundry room makes this a great place for outdoor enthusiasts to "keep it clean" on vacation.
The space is surrounded by forest, and is quiet, peaceful and private. Yet, the Peerless Saloon & Grill and the Cheaha Brewing Company are just 2.5 miles away.
Though the property is designed specifically for mountain bike groups, it can accommodate couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and pets. The custom built concrete patio and fire-pit provide a relaxing oasis for small or large groups, year round.
The entire property is available to guests during their stay. As aforementioned, there is a fully (motion sensor) monitored alarm system which each guest will be provided an access code.
You may choose to sip your morning coffee on a private back patio, a screened in porch, or a deck that sits high atop a hill.

We are available for questions, concerns, & recommendations via mobile device during a guest's stay. As local mountain bikers, we are happy to assist in any outdoor event or mountain biking (destination) planning services you may require. For example, map provision and detailed descriptions of specific areas or experiences.
Feel free to bring an item from your town, your local trail system, or hometown athletic event, for example a map, brochure, or tshirt. We will add it to our collection from other visitors & keep it on display at the York Place, as a way to help us make this a unique mountain bike retreat!
We are continually adding to and improving upon this property!
This house was developed with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. The three different outdoor spaces are meant to be enjoyed.
Keurig coffee is available at the house at all times.
- All we ask is that you treat the space with respect, and not to smoke inside. If you'd like, you may bring a small item that is culturally significant to your city or area, preferably it is mountain bike or bicycle specific. (For example, a map of your local trails.)

I live in the Choccolocco valley and love the cycling community, trails and outdoors, art scene, and mountains that this area has to offer. I have a deep respect and enjoyment for mother nature and all of its wonder, as well as a love and curiosity of people, their culture, and their accomplishments.
