'Snugness' the perfect name for this charming place.
After a great welcome from Derek's sister Charmaine, who was there to greet us and had organised us a taxi from the airport. (Lisa, the taxi driver was very informative and showed us places of interest on the way).
Charmaine had made sure we had basic essentials in the fridge, which was great, as we arrived on a Bank holiday.
The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. There is plenty of bed linen and towels and even spare beach towels. There is plenty of wardrobe space and It is Has a great outdoor area with plenty of shade, if needed. In fact you are spoilt for choice for dining outside as there are two dining areas!! (Also, some very comfortable sun beds)
There was even snorkell gear for our use which was great as who wants to take those on the plane if they don't need to!!
The beds are very comfortable and large, and there is plenty of wardrobe space.
Charmaine even organised us a hire car. Although it is very easy to get around the island and there is a bus stop right across the road.
The view out the front is of the ocean and it's beautiful and the Fish pot restaurant is a two minute walk away. The food is amazing if you want a nice treat during your stay.
Braddy's bar is close by and although it may look a bit scruffy it is a lovely, cheap, friendly place to sit and watch the sun go down, with a beer or a rum punch. we would thoroughly recommend this family cottage and will definitely be returning as soon as we can!!
