The Stables was converted from 3 separate buildings, now linked by a new oak-framed, light-filled dining room. This forms the main entrance and together with the large living room is located at one end of the building. The two bedrooms, on either side of the large bathroom, are at the other end next to an open study area with book shelves and a sofa bed. With the open plan kitchen, cloakroom and utility room in the centre, The Stables provides more than 100 square metres of living space. The architecture of the original building has been maintained, with floor to ceiling windows along its entire length, making the spacious interiors light and airy. The Stables has double glazing, underfloor heating and beautiful limestone flooring throughout making it warm in winter and cool in summer ensuring that you are comfortable whatever time of year you choose to visit.

The Stables shares its footprint with Oak Tree Barn, both of which originally formed part of a farmstead dating back to 1850. They sit opposite each other around a shared, sunny, walled courtyard. The Stables has a private access and also enjoys its own shadier courtyard. Guests are free to wander around our gardens and paddocks and enjoy watching the sunset through our 200 year old oak trees.
