Two rooms for couples are equipped with queen size beds, and a large bunk room has two bunks plus two singles for sleeping up to 6 children ONLY. A large bathroom with shower and bath is easily accessible, along with a laundry with washer.
Outside, a hardwood timber verandah leads to a covered BBQ area with views out over paddocks with horses and a dam. The garden includes a raised cubby house which the children will love and grassy areas for outdoor games. A fire pit is available for roasting marshmallows.
Please note: your dog is welcome - BUT the property is rural, therefore, unfenced and is surrounded by other farms where some dogs roam freely.
For those who want to bring their horse, there is a secure paddock right at the house which has a small shelter.
Guests have exclusive use of the homestead, as well as paddocks on higher ground which include a fire trail leading into the state forests.
There is one paddock below the homestead with a shelter which can be used by guests with horses, but all other paddocks below the homestead are private and contain livestock owned by other people.
Please leave their horses alone and do not pet or feed them.
Please note, there are several dams, a creek & a few billabongs, watch your children carefully.
Plenty of water (dams, creeks & billabongs) around, please watch your children carefully!
Please bring warm clothes in winter - the farm house takes a little while to warm up once you get the fires going. We leave the fires set ready for you to simply light but you may want to bring extra fire lighters etc.
In summer use the aircon to keep the lounge cool, and open the doors to the deck for kitchen and dining. There are fans in all bedrooms for some breeze.
Please clean up after your animals!
There is a large outside enclosure with a kennel and bowls.
There is also an old aviary if you prefer somewhere smaller and enclosed as well as a roof.
Being rural, there are several dogs around the area from neighbouring farms, they are friendly - let us know if you have any issues with them and we will do what we can to help.
The house does not have traditional suburban type dog proof fence.
Each queen bed has a firmer and a softer pillow, we hope you enjoy these personal touches.
There are 3 options
An Aldi coffee machine, please bring some pods with you
There is a French Press if you'd like to bring some ground coffee
the closest cafe is about ten mins away.
RUBBISH & RECYCLING
At the end of your stay, please dispose of rubbish & recycling in the bins at the entrance to the property. There are plenty of foxes and dogs around who will spread your rubbish far and wide if you leave it lying around, so please be considerate of this.
Our bin day is Wednesday.
Password is on the fridge.
Access to the property is monitored by security camera for yours and our safety.
