I'm Marta and was born in a town near Venice, I studied architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and I live in Rome since ten years.
Even as a child I've always loved to meet people from different cultures and even when I did not know their language, I found a way to communicate.
I think my passion for architecture derives in part from this: the house reflects the soul of a person.
When I start a travel, I like to have a roadmap, but as I walk into a new place, I like be carried away by emotions and follow streets that lead me in a square not known before or into a local craft store.
I always thought that life is one and split it up to us, to decide when to leave the old road for the new one, although this may scare. Being open to the advice of others, but having the courage to go wrong with your head.
Meet people as Guest or Host is a good way to open your mind and so my husband Marco that is a frequent traveller and has been an active member of Couchsurfing in Rome and I, had decided that it's time to host and give all our advices to the travellers in order to discover and enjoy this wonderful Rome!
