This bunk-bed room is best for a pair who want a private room. Although its space is as small as single room, this Japanese-style tatami bed is larger and stronger than ordinary bunk beds. There is a reading light on each bed. There are windows on two sides of the room that make the room bright and open.

Very clean and friendly place near the train station. Loved the advice and atmosphere. I brought a friend who had never stayed at any hostel-type accommodation before and even she was satisfied. As per most places in Japan, space is small. This isn't a problem, just something to be aware of if you need vast amounts of space. Ace's level of English was really high. We enjoyed our stay. I even found myself missing Wind Villa after moving on to other accomidation in Japan :)

Ace's guest house was very very nice. The bed's were comfortable, and the showed are very nice and clean. The location very very close to the subway station and bus stop. It is usually only a stop or two to get us to the central area of Kyoto. Also, the cafe amazon opposite to the street is very good. Ace's guest house is around the corner from two convenient stores which opens 24/7. I highly recommend Ace’s place. He even reserved yukata experience workshop for us. And looked up good places to go to. Super helpful and friendly host!!!!

Amazing place, well maintained, peaceful and clean. Ace and his mother were so nice and ensured we settled in well. Kyoto station was a nice 10-15 minutes stroll. A river side walk was close and extremely beautiful. Saw loads of cherry blossoms. A Vegan restaurant, department stores and Macdonald are also close if required. Rented a bicycle and had so much fun! Kyoto is a beautiful place and wind villa is a perfect place to stay while in Kyoto. Thank you so much Ace!

This place is very good, ultra clean and with all services you might need from a guest house. Well organized and quiet, you might bear in mind that is Japanese styled so be aware of small spaces but cozy and very functional. I'm gladly stay again in Ace's place if will come back to Kyoto.
