Great views of the Lubéron and village below from the top floor covered terrace with its sitting area.
Our village home dates back to around 1760 and belonged to a noble man. It is located in the very heart of the beautiful, unspoiled village of Saint-Saturnin-Les-Apt. Many shops (bakery, pastry shop, butcher, cafes, pharmacy...) are located within steps of the house. Every morning, you get to enjoy the wonderful aromas from fresh baked goods, courtesy of our village baker, right across the street! This house offers a true Provence village experience and is the perfect base for all of your Provence sightseeing!
Free Wi-fi, digital cable with over 180 channels, and a land line phone with free calls to the US and 110 other countries.
The house has a maximum occupancy of 4 people. It offers about 1500 square feet of living space divided into 4 levels:
Ground level/ 1st floor: Pool table room/laundry room/powder room
2nd floor: Kitchen/dining room/ living room
3rd floor: 2 bedrooms/1 large bathroom
4th floor: currently unfinished but gives you access to the covered terrace with a sitting area and superb views of the Luberon.
This is a typical Provence village house. There is a covered terrace for your enjoyment on the the very top floor, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or other beverage during hot summer days and stay out of the sun (temperatures average is in the mid-90's F/30 + C in the summer in Provence! :) ). One of the many advantages of this house is that it has Air Conditioning in all bedrooms and in the main living area, which is a hard-to-find feature in Provence. There is also a brand new Rene Pierre pool table for your enjoyment on the ground floor. You can also put out our bistro set right out front of the house and watch the world go by while enjoying and relaxing after a busy sightseeing day!
This village is very friendly and lively, and with all amenities right at your door step, you almost don't need a car! There are many great places to eat, 2 quality bakeries/pastry shops, a butcher, bars etc. Apt's superb farmers market is every Saturday and is only 8km away.
The entire house is for your own private use (about 140 m2 or 1500 sq ft).

We do not currently live in the area but we hire a fantastic local managing team to take care of everything as needed.
Normal check-in time is 4PM. If needed, the arrival time can be adjusted with our local property manager a little before 4pm.
Parking: There is ample FREE parking in the village, the closest one being about 100 meters from the house. See photos in photo album for details.
Please respect our home as if it were your own. Please do not move or climb on furniture as we have many valuable antiques. When not home we kindly ask that you turn the AC or heating system off.
You are always welcome to use the fireplace. Fire wood can be purchased at grocery stores and home improvement stores. You are responsible for cleaning the fireplace after use. A 30€ will be held back from the deposit if the fireplace is not cleaned when you check out.
Greetings! We are an American (him) and French (me) couple currently living in the USA, moving around quite a bit "thanks" to hubby's military career, and were lucky enough to be able to purchase a home in my home region of the south of France back in 2015. We hope to retire there eventually, but until then, we want others to enjoy our home, located in beautiful Provence, and make it their own! As you can tell from the profile photo, we love dogs, especially Great Pyrenees. We love to travel, as well as good food and wine.
Bonjour a tous!
