The apartment is situated on the top floor (4th) and there is no elevator. It is a no-smoking apartment, but you can smoke on the balconies. No pets. Paid public parking in the area and it's pretty much always possible to find an available spot close by.
The apartment is suited for friends, couples, families and business trips.
In the courtyard behind our building, there are two larger rooms, one is reserved for bicycles and one is reserved for prams.
I have no animals in case of any allergies.
There is no cleaning fee, but please treat my home as your own.
The apartment is situated in Nørrebro, a hip and multicultural area, which also houses many families with young children.
Nørrebro has something to offer everybody. It is packed with supermarkets in terms of both discount, luxury and greengrocers. In addition, also good take-aways.
You can get food from a wide range of different restaurants, whether your in the mood for a cheap kebab, thai takeaway, sushi or a fancy restaurant.
Nearby are parks for walks or running (Nørrebroparken, Fælledparken etc.).
If the weather allows it a beach is located about 15 minutes from the appartment by bus (Svanemøllestranden).
The neighborhood in general features a couple of places worth mentioning:
Jaegersborggade and Stefansgade
It's packed with shops, a superb bakery, a michelin-starred restaurant, a prize-winning coffee-shop and much more - all set in a young and vibrant Nørrebro-atmosphere.
Green park with volleyball, basketball, petanque, barbecue areas, professionel football field etc.
Pedestrian street in a multi-cultural setting. Lots of places to eat and drink.
Sankt Hans Torv
The lovely square and surrounding area offering urban living with cafes, restaurants, bars, specialty stores, cinema etc.
The Assistens Cemetery
It's the place where writer HC Andersen and Søren Kirkegaard is buried, but it also doubles as a park where the locals go to have a picnic, etc.
No need to remember all this. I will provide you with a starterkit with some suggestions to get you started exploring the city.
Nørrebro itself is easily explored by walking, biking or the frequent buses. The area is very well connected to the rest of Copenhagen via public transportation - the city centre is only a 15-20 minutes away by bus which runs all the time.
I will be out of town upon your visit, so friends or family of mine will be handing out the keys and such.
A metro station is being build on the same street as the apartment. So far it hasn't caused much noise since it's in a reasonable distance and the street has had a drop in traffic.
