Playful, functional, charming. Stunning views. Small but cozy apartment, perfect for a couple or a family with children. Sleeps 2 plus 3 sofa beds available on request. 5 mins walk to the lake shore (private boat hire available), 10 mins walk from mountain walking tracks. Free parking nearby. Close to bus stops to/from Como.
The flat is located in a 2-storey historical building. As you come into the building, a beautiful flower garden welcomes you. The garden is carefully looked after by a local landscape gardener, who lives on the ground floor.
You can access all parts of the flat.
Please note: being an old historical building, unfortunately we have no wheelchair access. The flat is on the 2nd floor, and there is no lift in the building. Sorry about that!

Signora Barbara will meet you to hand over the keys, show you around the place. As a local from the area she will be able to help you find your way around.
Azzano is very small but has everything you need: a supermarket, a bakery, a library, newsagents, cafes, restaurants, beauty parlour and, of course, the local pub. There's a beautiful park, with a playground and botanic gardens - during summer food & wine festivals and music events are hosted in the Azzano parklands.
If you fancy hiring a boat, we have a special arrangement with boat rental company Nautic Planet, who can pick you up directly from the Azzano harbour and offer you a special deal.
Boat hire: day time only (4 hours min); Taxi boat: day and night

I'm an arts education lecturer living in Dublin, Ireland. I'm originally from Italy, and love the lake Como area, that's one of the most beautiful places in the world for me. Whenever I go back to Italy, I go to my Lake Como Casetta, it's a quiet, beautiful, inspiring place to write and relax. My job keeps me in Ireland most of the time, hence I'm sharing my place. I'm looking for guests that will be respectful of the place (which was just renovated by an interior designer) respectful of the lake, and of the mountains that sourround it.
