The hosts are vary knowledgeable about Oberlin College and the Oberlin community. Joe is an expert on the Civil War and the Underground Railroad and tells historical stories of past events at breakfast. We are available whenever needed as we live in an apartment on premises.

My husband and I are retired public school teachers and as a retirement project we started our own bed and breakfast which has now been operating for 13 years. We live in a small historical college town and in our business we meet guests from all over the world. When we travel we enjoy staying anywhere that is not a cookie cutter hotel and meeting and talking to our host.
