Our apartment consists of 2 rooms - a relaxing larger living room and the cutest, coziest little bedroom. There is a nice private bathroom, and a hallway which leads out to the garden, where you'll find a very spacious and cozy patio in the garden, with a beautiful view of some of the Old town residential neighborhoods. The apartment has an area of ~30m2. We welcome you to experience a stay in a traditional Bosnian house in Sarajevo with hosts that will adapt to your needs as much as possible :)
The apartment is a cozy space, offering privacy, furthered by the beautiful flowers just outside the window, and the old Sarajevan architectural style of the early/mid 20th century. The first room has a single bed that is used as a couch. Next to the window overlooking the garden, there is a sizeable table where you can sit and watch some TV, use your laptop or just cejfiti, meaning basically chill :) We are located close to the city center, about 350-400 meters up a slight hill above Baščaršija, the Old Town center square. It takes about five-seven minutes to reach on foot. All the most important landmarks of the city are no more than 20 minutes away, as well as the best places in terms of Sarajevo nightlife.
Aside from your private room, you have a patio outside ideal for relaxing in an open area, where you can read a book or smoke a cigarette, and you're not confined by the four walls of your room, however spacious it may be :) You can drink some coffee, tea which you can take from the garden table, or just sit down and enjoy the view.
You are free to use the patio in the garden in front of the house at any time. Just try and keep the noise slightly down after 22:00, please.

My parents and me, your hosts, try their best to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. We always attempt to adapt to your needs and requirements - if you need instructions or guidance with getting to know the city better, or some recommendations for places where you can eat or get some drinks, we are there to help. On the other hand, what we love about renting as well is getting to know new people and hearing their stories, if you're willing to share.
For those who want to explore the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina or other parts of our beautiful country, my previous work/employment as a tour guide in Insider tours agency Sarajevo allows me to help you get around the city and opens opportunities for you to see the city through a more experienced set of eyes, and my parents, Aida and Edo, definitely do not lag behind in this regard.
You can pet and play with the cats, Persi and Frki, and dog Pasa, just don't let them inside your room, for your sake due to hygiene/cleanliness of the apartment and animal hair.
You can wear shoes in the apartment, if you are used to it and prefer it. The custom in Bosnia, though, is to take the shoes off upon entrance to the apartment. We provide slippers in case you need them. It is also much cleaner this way :)
Smoking is allowed in the outside patio, but not in the apartment itself.

I'm a 22 year old Economics graduate, a degree I got in July 2017. I currently work as a media analyst in a company in the digital marketing industry.
I was born and raised in Sarajevo and feel like I could never call another place home. I try to use hosting as a way to connect with people from all around the world and learn and hear how they think and what their interests are, and it's proven to be an extremely fun and interesting experience. I am slowly beginning to use travelling for the same purpose, and can't wait to experience many different cities and places in the same way my guests experience my hometown Sarajevo.
I love history and interesting stories about people and places and can't wait to learn something new, as well as to share my knowledge with others.
Stop by my place for some Bosnian coffee and a chat, the two go hand in hand :)
