We moved to Durango in January 2016 from Denver to get away from the crowds, live in the mountains and be a part of a strong community of young professionals. As though 2016 wasn't already crazy enough with the move, we also got married in the Riviera Maya.
We love Durango for the small town, friendly people, and the outdoor adventures right in our backyard. We enjoy hiking, running, stand-up paddle boarding, yoga, snowshoeing and skiing. We have a dog named Charlie, who definitely keeps us on our toes. The restaurants here are fantastic, and there's never a lack of fun activities.
Allison works as an architect with Steve Gates Architect on modern residential and commercial projects. Luke works from our home as an estimator for Brand Energy Solutions doing industrial subcontracting.
Airbnb has been a fun opportunity for us to meet people from all over the US and beyond. We enjoy sharing our home and our fantastic town.
