Welcome to Amsterdam! We are looking forward to rent out our apartment to you.
Located in the popular area Rivierenbuurt, a quiet neighborhood next to the Amstel and near lots of nice spots. Although strategically situated between the city center / Schiphol airport and RAI convention center, the apartment lies in a quiet and safe street.
Around the corner:
*Tree supermarkets (less than 300m by foot)
*Restaurants and shops with all the basics you need (open 7 days a week).
*Close to the Amstel Station from where you can go to the airport and downtown.
*Tram 4 stops at Victorieplein which is a 10min walk to our home.
* Opposite our house you have the Martin Lutherkingpark where you can pick nick or just chill in the grass. (From 12th of August until 28th of August you will find here the Parade street festival which is great fun)
*By train. You can take the train to Amstel station and from there its only a 10min walk to our apartment.
* By bike:
Amsterdam is the bike capital of the ... world? Anyhow, bring your own bike or rent one and extend your radius.
A convenient way of getting around the city is using public transport, generally very good. GVB is the operator in Amsterdam and a day ticket (€7,50) will let your ride on all trams / metros and buses (but not the train!) for 24 hours.
Opt for the iAmsterdam City Card, it's €47 and will give you free public transport, a free canal cruise plus free entrance to all museums!
Don't be afraid to ask us anything! We'll happily point to our favorite spots or explain you how to get somewhere.
- Other folks: Do not bring in any other people unless we know upfront
- Rules: we don't like rules. But at the same time it can help build stronger relationships and understanding - as we all come from different backgrounds.
- Since Amsterdam is sometimes considered as 'sin city'...don't bring any ladies of pleasure in and/or in your country forbidden drugs either. There are special places for that in the city.
