The Mountain View Chapel - converted church building, close to the river, Battersea Park and the numerous shops, bars and cafes on Battersea Park Road, Lavender Hill and Kings Road. No mountain view.
Easy transport links to central London, Gatwick, Wimbledon and Brighton from Clapham Junction.
Light and very spacious with its own private entrance and patio space.
Our place is next to a railway line (infrequent freight line and the odd steam train) so also perfect for trainspotters.
You'll be staying in a refurbished double height converted church building with wooden floors (underfloor heating) with two spacious double bedrooms in the roof. You'll have a huge, light open plan living space with a wooden, fully equipped kitchen and two modern bathrooms. Both bedrooms are accessed via spiral staircases so probably not suitable for disabled guests. Young children will need supervision.
We can put a sofa bed in the open plan living area if you need it. Please let us know before you book.
You'll have the whole space to yourselves, including a private patio at the back.
Access is via our front garden (gated) and you will have your own entrance.

We both work from home a lot - and our place is next door - so you can see as much or little of us as you like. We'll happily help with recommendations, advice or travel info. Equally, if you prefer to be given the key and left to yourselves, that's fine with us.
Breakfast hampers can be provided by arrangement.
Latchmere Rd is a busy route - but you can't hear or see it from your apartment. Our place is next to a railway line - irregular freight trains and the odd steam train - even the Orient Express every now and then.
- Sorry - strictly no parties. Our house is next door though the apartment has its own entrance.
- Please let us know exactly how many guests will be in the apartment before you book.
- no smoking at all in the apartment. You can smoke on the patio though.
- Although we like them a lot, we're sorry but we can't have pets.
- The apartment has two spiral staircases so isn't ideal for children or people who have mobility problems.
I'm a working mum of 4 (quite big now) kids. Pete and I live with our kids in Battersea. We like seeing live music, films, cooking, eating out and mooching round galleries. We bought an old church building 15 years ago and we are new to this airbnb adventure.
We hope we've created a fun and relaxing space where you can come and go easily and enjoy the city.
