This wooden house from year 1900 lies in a very charming and car free neighborhood in the city center of Bergen. The room is quite small but very charming, with a view directly to Fløyen, the "city mountain".
I am a 27 year old girl from Norway. I have been living in Bergen since 2008, first as a student and now as an architect in a firm that works with heritage buildings.
I grew up in the south of Norway, close to a costal town named Risør. The village is small with only 5000 inhabitants. It is a charming white painted town known for chamber music, wooden boats, pottery and handcrafts. Later I moved to Lyon in France for my three years of high school. There I enjoyed life in a big city, central european history and culture. Through school I got specially interested in litterature, languages and philosophy... I enjoy traveling to both metropolitan and remote places, and prefere to move by train or boat, so that I get a sense of what's between A and B...
Together with my boyfriend I have stayed at Airbnb homes on our travels to Italy and Japan, which has been truly amazing experiences. Now we want to open our home in Bergen in return. We speak english, german and french.
