I am glad you enjoyed your stay, but since nobody will stay where there is an "11 page list of rules" sprung on them last minute, I would like to clarify the situation and correct the inaccurate feedback in this review: We do not have an “11 page list of rules”. We have 5 rules:
No Smoking or drug use, No music outside (it disturbs the serene environment), No parties allowed, No guests allowed other the amount of guests specified on the final reservation, Quiet time is 10pm till 5pm (cutting back on excessive noise).
The rules are clear on our listing and is an exact copy of the rules that are included in the “Home Manual” that we send out to guests. Upon confirming a reservation through Airbnb guests acknowledge that they have read and accept the rules. Furthermore, the first message I received from you confirming your reservation on 7/3/2018 was:
“Hi there. I reviewed the house rules, and we are looking forward to our visit. This is a weekend escape from the LA hustle and bustle. Jul 3, 2018”
There were no surprises from our side: The first “House Manual” containing the two pages of “Rules, Requests and General Information” was sent out to you on 7/11/2018, almost 2 months before your reservation. The second copy was sent 4 days before the reservation with a request to confirm that you have read page 2 and 3. An exact copy of the house manual can be found on our listing, and the rules on our listing is an exact copy of the “rules and requests” in the manual.
We are not perfect, but we strive to provide the best possible accommodation, and service to our guests.
