This is a 3 level, 2BR townhouse managed by SFViewHome with dramatic views of downtown San Francisco skyline to the east and Golden Gate Bridge to the northwest. If you are coming to SF for fundraising and would like assistance include a note on that.
Enjoy sunrise in peace from any of the 3 levels each with private decks. Kitchen, dining and reclining are all on the main living level which features 14 feet ceilings and floor to ceiling windows facing downtown and to the bay. The middle level has a queen bed along with large walk in closet and the bathroom and its own private deck. The lower level has two twin beds and access to the back deck and garden. The table in the great room is my favorite place to work on a laptop but if you need a desk or other office amenities let us know.
If you like Starbucks to start your day, there is a location two blocks away on Parnassus. For more local coffee and/or full breakfast you may stroll to Cafe Reverie (great coffee, great menu, outdoor seating in the back), Boulange de Cole Valley (a great bakery) or Crepes on Cole (big plates of great food). These are all on Cole Street 4 blocks away. For exercise and sightseeing you can walk, run or rent a bike to discover Golden Gate Park. 1/2 mile wide and 3 miles long, GGP extends from Stanyan Street to Ocean Beach and offers a wonderful bike ride or run out to Lands End, the DeYoung Museum, Sea Cliff, China Beach, Baker Beach and across the bridge to Marin and Sausalito.
Recover from the sightseeing back at the house by enjoying the front deck with its big views across Golden Gate Park, Presidio Golf Course, Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands. At dusk you will want to return to main level of the townhouse and watch the city light up. For dinner, there are a dizzying number of choices. You can walk 4 blocks to Cole Street we recommend Zazie, Padrecito, Bambinos and Kezar to name a few. You can walk 15 minutes to Haight Street or to the Inner Sunset where there are scores of restaurants. You can also take a short cab or black car ride to the NOPA district, Pacific Heights, the Marina, the Mission or SOMA. If you are visiting on business, you can take the N Judah rail (stop is 3 blocks away at Stanyan and Carl) to Union Square, Market Street (which gets you to the Moscone Center) or the financial district. You can also connect from here to Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Menlo Park, San Jose and there are stops at Oakland Airport and San Francisco airport. If you are a high growth firm fundraising, Sand Hill Road and Silicon Valley VCs are about 30-40 minutes away on 280. Downtown is 15 minutes by cab or black car. The property is equally convenient to 101 or 280.
If you are touring again the N Judah rail that leads downtown and explore shopping at Union Square or take a cable car through Russian and Nob Hill to North Beach and Fisherman's Wharf. The property is in the geographic center of San Francisco. It is very easy to travel north, south or east. Wine country is 1-2 hours away. Stanford in Palo Alto is about 40 minutes.

Not smoking inside or outside. We used to be more relaxed on this until we found buts lying on the grounds or sidewalk...this property is not a fit. Please don't inquire about bringing a dog on the property. We have the Wag Hotel nearby if that is an option for you.

No through traffic; no pan handling here, no one sleeping on your porch as in some other popular areas of the city. It is quiet but very convenient...every thing you want and nothing that you don't want.

We canceled our cable subscription but left the tv and you are welcome to hook up your Roku or Apple TV. If you are staying multiple months and want cable let us know and we will arrange it.
Quiet time starts at 9:30 p.m. please. In your inquiry please confirm the number of total guests and mix of adults and children staying. We prefer to have no more than 3 adults at a time but the house can accommodate a family with 2 children and an occasional overnight guest using the sofa bed.
