I am really sorry that the unit wasn't as clean as it should have been and I will definitely follow up on this. Regarding the cold, it's regrettable that it affected you badly, but it is winter currently, which does mean the colder nights. We have provided blankets for everyone and an electrical heater, which was sufficient for previous guests. The other unit does have a fireplace, yes, but no unit is the same and we didn't advertise yours would have one. I could've tried to make things more comfortable for you, but you only started complaining on your last night and unfortunately we weren't around by that time and you didn't tell me before.
We never have load shedding in our area, which is great, but there is nothing I or anyone here could do when one of the transformers in the area has a problem. I agree it took them long to fix it and I am very sorry it happened right during your stay, but we can not plan these things and I have offered a free night's stay to try and make up for it.
I am glad though that you enjoyed the place anyway and that you understand why we don't have TV's. We are looking forward to welcoming you again, perhaps in summer time?
