Under the trees, in the garden of a 1918 villa, you will be listening to birds singing their songs. And once in a while, a few equestrians are passing by, looking for the entrance to the forest of the dunes, less than 50 meters away. If you feel dapper, you can go on a 5km walking adventure to the sea. For meals and drinks, the hustle and bustle of cafes and restaurants are a ten minute walk away. This is a place to wind down, read a book, take a stroll, and do nothing else...
Our guest house is detached, and is situated in our garden. Inside it's functional, with toilet, shower, internet and a bed for two people. The garden area faces south, where there are table and chairs to rest from your adventures in town or in the dunes. The garden feels private, but you will be sharing it with us.
The cottage has its own entrance. One car can be parked to the left of our drive-way, as long as we can still get in and out with our car.

We have made sure that you have all you need, but if you need any tips, then we'll be happy to explain and help you out.
Our guest house is perfect for sleeping and relaxing, but there is no kitchen. This means that for all but the simplest drinks and meals, you need to go to town, a ten minute walk away. Or a few minutes on your bike. One of the supermarkets downtown opens 8am. There is an electric kettle for tea, a coffee machine, and a small fridge (that you need to switch on if you decide to use it).
And, just to make double sure that you are not surprised when you arrive... As you can read above under "sleeping arrangements", the bed is a sofa bed (160x205cm) - not a 220x220cm hotel boxspring.
We expect that you respect our belongings.
- There is no smoking on our premises (not inside, not outside), no loud behavior, and you cannot bring guests or new friends.
- You can park your car on our premises, but only if it fits, and if we can easily still get our own car in and out. If your car does not fit, you have to park it some 100 meters down the road, near the school.
- if a young child joins you, please note that we have a little pond in the garden, so you have to keep an eye on your kid and be careful.
I have travelled a lot and my favorite destination is Japan. I love all food, especially Spanish and Japanese. I practice Aikido, I dance salsa and I run two or three half marathons a year. When I am traveling for work, you will hardly notice me - being out most of the time, carrying as little luggage as possible. Hmm what's my motto... Just Do It.
