Amager is a small island of which the north end is integrated to Copenhagen city/downtown. Our apartment is situated only 2 kilometers from Copenhagen city center in a classic urban milieu.
In Copenhagen the way to get around is on a bike (Use ours) Otherwise there is plenty of busses, a metro and the s-train all connected and easy to use. Find your transport here. Our metro station is named ”Lergravsparken st (Metro)” and is located 150m from the apartment.
The southern part of the island is countryside with villages and fields where cows and horses grass. Here you will also find the old charming fishing village of Dragør-always worth a visit, ice-cream in the harbor is a classic.
On Amager you will also find Copenhagen international airport Kastrup which is only 8 kilometers from the city center. Furthermore the beach “Amager strandpark” is a brand new 4,6 km long artificial beachfront with a lot of activities all year around, it is located only 500m from the apartment.
In Copenhagen center you will also find the world’s oldest amusement park Tivoli which is a very charming old garden with restaurants and of course lots of cool rides.
