Our garage-turned-studio is located in the backyard of a charming 1920s Mar Vista house. The studio is quiet, standing alone with no shared walls. Salvaged french doors open to a serene private patio in the back of the property.
This charming spot comes with comfy bedding, new kitchenwares, teas, coffee, and a few antique treasures.
Two people can comfortably fit in the space. There is a queen-size bed, full fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and washer and dryer in the unit.
The patio is peaceful and sunny; the best part of the property and a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee.
Access is down the path of the main house and through the backyard. A brick patio shared with the main house is in front of the studio's front door. Once you enter the studio, it's completely private.
Street parking is available, easy, and free.
*Please note that while the studio itself is private, it is in the backyard of the house we live in. Also, a cat lives in the main house and has access to the yard.*
I grew up in Los Angeles and love the sun, beach, and mountains. I try to spend my free time camping and exploring new places, experimenting in the kitchen, or riding my bike around town. After living on the East Coast for the last five years, I'm happy to be back in California, getting to take weekend trips to Joshua Tree, Yosemite, Bishop, and Santa Barbara!
