More about Witsand/Port Beaufort
Witsand is a quaint fishing village, located at San Sebastian Bay, right at the mouth of the mighty Breede River, home to the Big Cob. This small village is 300 kilometres from Cape Town along the Garden Route.
During your stay at Whale Watchers Inn you have the opportunity of whale watching from the comfort of your guesthouse balcony. Witsand offers excellent land-based whale watching and seeing a whale for the first time is an incredible experience.
Watch as the magnificent 15 metre creature waves its massive tail and then hurls itself clear of the water in a breach - an amazing experience indeed.
