Cozy apartment in the beautiful surroundings The apartment is situated in the middle of the tiny quiet medieval town Perinaldo, inhabited by very nice and friendly people. Situated on top of a mountain some 30 km from the Medetarrianean coast the town is famous as a birthplace of Giovanni Cassini - a prominent astronomer of XVII-XVIII centuries. Perinaldo has medieval historical center and three old churches. The apartment is situated 2 minutes of walk from one of them - built in XIVth century on the central square of Perinaldo at the place of the XIth century church, dedicated to St Nicolas and 5-7 minutes walk from a bus station, two local shops and one of restaurants on a narrow old street looking like a decoration to "Romeo & Juliet". The flat has two rooms, big enough to comfortably settle three grown ups ( if two of them are ready to share one bed), a bathroom and a kitchen. For a couple it is absolutely ideal! The flat is well furnished, nicely decorated and has all the necessary facilities - except for the Internet. If the latter is important for you, try to find some other place as even 3G from the Italian operators, which works perfectly in most part of the town, is not available in the apartment. On the other hand, the price policy of the owner is highly competitive - it's difficult to find similar proposal in the area during the high season. The owner supplies you with a detailed manual how to operate his property immediately after setting a contract. The manual is well written and very useful, but misses one very important point - how to get to Perinaldo for the first time with the public transport. So here are some tips: the bus going from Ventimiglia to Perinaldo stops near the house 30 on Via Cavour. To get there from the railroad station you have to walk along Via Della Stazione till its crossing with Via Cavour, cross the street and turn to the left. The bus stop is situated near a shoe-shop and honorary consulate of Spain. The buses to Sanremo leave from the same stop, but they will not take you to Perinaldo, so you'd better ask the driver or passengers if the bus goes to Perinaldo. There's no sign informing that you can get to Perinaldo from the stop neither the schedule of the bus. You can find the latter in the Internet, but remember - the schedule is different on working days and on weekends, during school season and during school vacations, and is a subject to change without notice. The dwellers of Perinaldo themselves were not able to explain to us who it works. According to them, you can always relay upon the buses leaving Ventimiglia at 08:15, 12:15 and 19:00. According to our 2-week August 2017 experience, the last bus, which leaves Ventimiglia at 19:00, was never cancelled. We strongly advise to come few minutes before it leaves. It...
