The single most common review I get about this apartment is ' what a fanastic view from that amazing balcony!'
That is what I love to see as soon as we land, glass of something , watch the flamingos and birds of all kinds (39 reported ) bliss!
This is a one bedroom apartment BUT is very large in living areas, as it is designed to be converted later to a two bed, so you get lots of airy space here, and with Air Conditioning now installed as well as ceiling fans, it is a well modulated space to live in throughout all seasons.
Not just parking but underground secure parking, with zappers to get into the complex and the garage keeping you secure and also in the summer the parking outside the complex is hard to find!
Supermarket is about 10 mins walk to the Mercadona, and there is a shopping trolley (very gran) in the apartment to help you carry it all home
Lifts, there are three, which connect the garage to the apartments, we are on the third floor, with that great view.
The pool is open between June 14th approx til Sept 14th on average, there is always a life guard/pool attendant on site, and the experience is lovely. Warm and inviting water, clean surroundings, with shade umbrellas around you can take your towel (provided for beach and pool) and stretch out in the sun.
In this area the sun is pretty much guaranteed. Only 2 1/2 hours away from Gatwick, Easyjet come into Almeria really regularly even in Winter. I come out often during October to February just to get some vitamin D.
Cheap flights, so far,the gold star prize goes to Easyjet for a return to Gatwick, cost only £10.49.... can't get to Brighton for that on the bus!
You get the idea.....
You get it all! Large double bedroom and huge balcony, with chairs, tables.
Lounge area with large flat screen TV, we have WiFi which provides all the channels , so you can watch UK soaps , films, etc
A deal breaker for some I know! Air Conditioning now installed!
Kitchen is super gorgeous, black gloss units, fridge freezer, microwave, built in oven, cupboards under and over
I like to think that we have thought of everything, because if I need it, so might you!
Glasses of all sizes, crockery, flatware, utensils, chopping boards, cooking equipment, of all sorts.
In addition, as most people seem to leave all sorts of herbs and spices, all the essentials are usually there, even PG tips, sugar, coffee, and all sorts of things so you don't have to buy a packet of salt and pepper, for instance just for a week's stay!
Washing up liquid, toilet rolls, and loads of toiletries are in a basket in the bathroom, I find all sorts of luxury shampoos there! Good to know right?
Interakcija s gostima
I am not there sadly BUT have amazing agents in Pat and Pete who will help you with everything, meet you with the zappers and keys and are there on the phone to help with any of your queries.
Useful to have a car, but the beach is walkable straight down the road from the complex, it takes me 6 minutes, but depends how fast you walk I guess:)
Almerimar is a 20 minute wander along the coast, lovely views of the Sierra Nevada mountains and sandy beach,
In the summer there is a great Summer Breeze bar on the beach, run by expats, Matt and Martin, super friendly and not over priced.
You will find that to be the case in the supermarkets as well, this is not Ibiza prices!
Lots of bars, marinas with all sorts of boats, from mega millionaires to Mr and Mrs pootle about in the water types.
You can sit at Marios on the marina, have two glasses of really good local white wine, and tapas is free, all for the princely sum of 5 Euros per person.....
UK run bars like the Stumble Inn, have great food at good prices, McGowans Irish bar is great for a chat and local knowledge.
There is even a charity shop......
Binoculars are there so you can see the birds, usually you will see Flamingos around 4pm every day...... I have seen a family of Bonelli Eagles, very rare!
Email me with any other questions, as there is so much to tell you.
Children and pets welcome, all expected to behave well of course!
