This sweet PEI Cottage is in Georgretown. A lovely village that features 3 great restaurants of varying price range and décor but all have excellent food. An historic theatre is home to a weekly ceilidh and excellent plays and music. The Maroon Pig (see photo) is the loveliest little bakery you will find in PEI and the Ice cream shop makes a homemade strawberry rhubarb sundae topping to die for! You can walk to all this from the Cottage.

All bed linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided
The livingroom has a TV with cable and DVD player (some adult and children DVDs) and WiFi.
The deck has outdoor seating and new propane BBQ and a firebowl for evening marshmallow roasting.
For those who love to cook, the kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, popcornmaker, a good set of knives and a fully stocked spice shelf that you are welcome to.
The main floor bathroom has a shower, tub and washing machine. Hang clothes to dry in the large yard.
There are folding chairs, sand toys and noodles to take to the beach. You can walk to the "town beach" (see photo) and the boardwalk which connects to the provincial trail system. Good swimming beaches are just a short drive away. The Cardigan farmers market (5 min drive) is open Thurs-Sunday but best is to go Saturday mornings for fresh local eggs, bread,meat, sausages, fruit and veggies. Brudenell Golf Course and riding stables are also just 5 mins down the road.
