I have no opinion on Jose himself since we did not meet, so therefore my review is based just on my experience in the rental unit. First, it was relatively inexpensive compared with other rentals I was able to choose from, and that made the value pretty decent. The parking was a little tight, with little room to maneuver in a full lot. When nobody else was there it was much easier getting in and out of a space. There was no porch light on to see where to fit the key in the keyhole, since I arrived just after sunset. When I first entered, there also was no light in the foyer. I felt around in the dark for a light switch but could not find one. That light in the entryway never came on during my 3-day stay. An automatic sensor turned a different light on but I was already half way up the dark stairwell when it did, and it was located on the midway-landing. The room was furnished with an air mattress, and I don't remember what the description called for but no matter, the bed was quite comfortable anyway. The heat was near unbearable for about the first half hour until the window unit had time to cool it down. Then after a while it got cool enough to turn off completely in the middle of the night. The neighbors on a different property decided to have a party one of the nights, but weren't too much trouble and I didn't really hear them after going inside. The kitchen is tiny, about the size of the bathroom, but had all the appliances for preparing or storing a meal, though the refrigerator was crammed with other guest's items and I had to fidget with some things to make room for just a couple soda cans and a sandwich. The bathroom was was pretty well maintained and taken care of; it was much cleaner and more organized than the kitchen.
