I highly recommend this place to stay in while visiting Vancouver. Our entire experience with Pamela was top notch.
1.) The suite was accurately portrayed on the website with no surprises. Actually that is not correct, the suite is better than it is portrayed on the website as pictures don't do justice for the interior design and quality of kitchen and trimmings.
2.) The suite is meticulously clean, easy on the eyes and comfortable. The bed is the most comfortable bed ever, I felt like I was sleeping on a prison mattress when I got back to my own home. I feel they went above and beyond to stock and equip the suite with many extra to make you feel like you're at home. Toaster oven, hot water kettle, coffee press, cutting boards, knives, polished utensils, ziplock bags, water bottles (for hiking), even the bathroom has an impressive arsenal of products like shampoo, soap, a bunch of girl stuff for nails, hand lotion. In comparison, my own home feels like a barren wasteland now. There are also instructions on how to use the TV, Netflix, Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and information on things to do and see in Vancouver.
Pamela was responsive, punctual and courteous and showed up to welcome us and help us check out while being accommodating of our schedule.
The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, yet surprisingly close to downtown. They offer underground parking for a small fee, but you can park on the street for free if you prefer to be more fiscally prudent. The parking is a bit annoying as there are some permit only spots, some 2 hr parking and a stretch of "no restrictions" parking. Everyone naturally goes for the non restricted parking but you can hustle the 2 hour parking and figure things out. In our 5 day stay we managed to successfully park whenever we needed so it's not that bad.
Anyways, I highly recommend this place. It was really a solid Air BnB experience.
