We were sorry to hear the guests had other expectations. This is the first ever time in 3 years of renting that the guests did not realise the apartment is not directly at the beach and a 5 minutes bike ride. We offered housing closer to the beach as well, but they chose not to move.
We do not include the phone or the coffee maker (as per the description), but offer free coffee in the morning at the shop. We have decided to buy a coffee maker after this trip thou to make guests more comfortable.
We did our best to supply a coffee maker the first day they arrived for them, gave them a tour around the property and tried to rectify the situation.
I think it is always good if the guests read the description of the house carefully before booking as to avoid expecting something that is not there. This means a disappointing guest no matter how hard you try to make it better.
