This is a quiet, lovely spot among greenery. You can sit outside and listen to the birds and watch squirrels clamber up and down the trees! There is a sitting area outside the studio but the deck on the back of the house is also available for bird watching and quiet contemplation. Cats and small dogs are welcome here. There are no pets on the property at this time but that can change.
This space is a unique Studio Apartment attached to a private home nestled in greenery and shrubs. It hosts accommodations for 1 or 2 adults or 2 adults with two children under the age of ten. It feels as though you are in the country but are only 10 min from downtown Anderson SC, a stones throw from Anderson University and 1/2 hour from Clemson University. The apartment has a living space complete with lots of books, comfortable furnishings and a TV. It has a small kitchen and dining area. There is an area for a computer or study. There is one Queen Size Bed and a Futon Couch with a real mattress that can be made into a full size bed. It has a full private bath that is reached by two small steps up from the bed/living space with basic linens included. I provide laundry facilities for guests staying more than one week. There is a small working kitchen with full stove, microwave, small refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans and utensils. It has its own private entrance. There is WiFi available. The ambiance is low key, quiet and private. The property has a pool open from June 1st until October. The pool is not heated. There are grocery stores, restaurants unique in the downtown area as well as all chains i.e. Chilis, Zaxbys, Applebys within a 15 minute drive. Movies and shopping are also within a 15 minute drive. The Anderson Area has 300 waterfalls and several great lakes for boating and recreation. There are bike trails close by and lots of hiking and climbing opportunities in the area. My neighborhood is very quiet and private. There are neighbors and we all know each other but our privacy is uppermost here. This neighborhood seems remote but is close to everything downtown and in the Anderson area.
This is a country space close to the city. There is no public transportation available near to this area. A car is needed to get around. There are buses that travel the city routes but no stop near to this studio.
Guest have access to the pool and the deck on the main house. The pool is not heated and is open from June 1st until October 1st.
