Best Neighborhood in NYC at a bargain price. The only catch, the apartment won't be fully furnished.
First the pros. The apartment is south facing, gets great winter sun and has a great view over Greenwich Village and the One World Trade Center. It’s a prewar walk up so oozes charm and has that authentic New York feel. The apartment is in the heart of the West Village surrounded by the best restaurants, bars and entertainment in the city.
Now the cons. I’m putting the place on AirBnB for the month as my wife and I are having a baby, due in March, and we need to move to a bigger place ASAP. As such, I’m going to have moved out all the furniture save for an air-mattress, two chairs, a card table, glasses, plates and cutlery enough for two. The apartment won’t have a TV, though who needs a TV when you're in the Village, or internet or even a couch. I’ll ensure the apartment has sufficient linen, towels etc. for two people. The apartment has heating, a full kitchen including the fridge but no washer or dryer in either the apartment or the building. You’ll have to send any laundry out.
As this is a compromise situation you can have it for $100/night. That's a lot cheaper than we pay in rent.
You'll have the whole apartment to yourself
