This 4-storey family home is located in the South-West region of Clapham, right in the heart of the popular Old Town with its Victorian and Georgian townhouses, boutiques and popular eateries.
The house can be accessed from the ground floor or lower level directly into an open-plan eat in kitchen with sweeping wooden floors. The wooden dining furniture and original fireplace add a wonderfully rustic edge to the room whilst the kitchen itself is modern and fresh with powder blue panelled cabinetry and a centred island. It has been expertly outfitted with amenities which include a stainless steel range cooker and a fitted dishwasher. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room which stores the essential washing machine and tumble dryer. You can conveniently access the grassy garden from this level, which has a swing set and children’s games to keep the little ones occupied!
The ground floor is dominated by a large double reception room, elegantly designed with cream walls and wooden flooring. Bay windows pour light directly into the formal sitting space which has a striking original fireplace and cream sofa, whilst the adjoining room has a large TV entertainment unit and a huge array of interesting books for guests’ entertainment. It also has patio doors allowing direct access to the garden.
As you reach the first floor you will find the first bedroom which comes furnished with a bunk bed (2 single beds) and large built-in cupboards. Across the hall is the sizeable street-facing master suite with white-washed wooden floors and a generous king size bed. It has an elegant design with a mirror surmounted fireplace and a large antique dressing table. The en suite bathroom comes with both a soaking tub and a separate shower enclosure.
There are a further two bedrooms on the second floor, both of which have been recently refurbished with single beds and study desks. The shared bathroom at the end of the corridor comes fully fitted with a full-sized bathtub and overhead shower.
The final bedroom on the top floor comes furnished with a smart king sized bed and plenty of storage and shelving space.
