This lovely home is situated in the much-loved village of Barnes, also known as 'Little Chelsea' which is famous for its beautiful Victorian and Edwardian homes, country-village feel and wonderful community.
Upon entering the penthouse apartment which is accessed directly through the elevator you are greeted by sliding glass doors which open to reveal a grand living room overlooking the river. Its polished walnut flooring is bordered with marble and creates effortless glamour when matched with the grand draped French doors to the balcony. Sit outside on a warm day and enjoy the picturesque rippling waters of the Thames which sparkle in the sun light. The sitting area has cream sofas and a flat-screen TV with Virgin. The dining area to one side is perfectly placed as its glass doors open up to reveal a contemporary kitchen. Uniquely designed with free-standing cabinets in stainless steel, it has the air of a chef’s restaurant kitchen and is no less equipped. It has everything you will need and more including an electric hob, coffee machine and American-style fridge with ice dispenser. At far end of the kitchen is a small utility closet containing the essential washer and tumble dryer.
Through the kitchen one can reach the main corridor and the first double bedroom which is at the far end of the apartment. In addition to its King-sized bed, it has a sitting area and a study desk with a small TV which guests are free to use. From the main entrance, turning right will lead you to the study which has a wide array of interesting books and is equipped with a writing desk as well as a printer and scanner. The second bedroom sits next to the study and has built-in wardrobes and a King-size bed. It also has the luxury of an en suite bathroom which is fitted with both a walk-in shower and a full-size bathtub, so whatever your needs are, they will be met! Adjacent to the bedroom is the shared bathroom which is very well finished with a walk-in shower.
The master bedroom is right at the end of the hall and boasts fabulous views of the river and the landscaped communal gardens. It is elegantly designed in tranquil cream with a powder blue rug to match the headboard of the super king-sized bed. Double doors open on to a walk-in wardrobe which allows access to the stunning en suite bathroom. It has a modern design with angular fittings and a large walk-in shower.
The lead guest will be required to sign an Occupation Agreement prior to arrival. Please note that the lead guest must be over 25 years old.
Normal check in time is between 3pm and 9pm. All other times may incur an additional fee.
