Titika and I have lived in Greece for 35 years. I'm American and she is Greek-Canadian. We're retired teachers. One of us is almost always home. We're here to supply information about Greece, the Islands, Athens or Voula/Glyfada. You will also have access to our extensive collection of books about Greece as well as a sizable library. (I used to own an English bookshop in Athens.)
The rooms are fully equipped with a/c, screens, TV, WiFi, refrigerator, kettle, coffee maker. We provide coffee, tea, sugar, milk, Greek honey, marmalade and fresh bread for your breakfast. Gluten free cuisine is also available, prepared by Rick from your specific requirements.
Smoking is permitted outside only.
Titika and Rick met in the romantic setting of her school (she was a teacher) or was it his book shop? in any case, the school needed books and the shop had books to sell. The long and the short of it is they met and fell in love. They married and raised two children who are now building their own lives. So we've taken their rooms, redecorated and made them available to you, our kind guests. Our kids may show up, but their rooms are now yours. We have both traveled extensively and know what the needs and vexations of travelers are and so we want to help our guests fulfill the former and avoid the latter. I've traveled nearly round the world and the best places I've stayed at, were those where I felt truly at home; in someone's house. Traveling is always such a mixture of pleasure and apprehension. That's what makes it interesting; that's what makes it compelling.
