One of the true (built 1946) desert homesteader houses in the area. On 40 acres of wildlife, within walking distance of the Covington Flats section of the National Park.
Gorgeous stone exteriors, huge wraparound porch, wood burning stoves, a big bathtub and staggeringly beautiful views in every direction (the Institute for Mental Physics is visible on the mesa from the front porch). Jackrabbits and road runners hang out in front all the time.
"It feels so spiritual here" - Literally everyone
You'll be in the guest wing of the house with full bathroom and big bathtub. There's a cozy living room with woodburning stove and a huge kitchen, shared, as well as the porch and the rugged and beautiful area around the house.
(Send me a message if you're interested in having the entire guest wing to yourself.)

Always available to answer any questions and help with anything that might come up! I'm glad to share a nice meal or drinks, but I understand and appreciate the need to be alone and commune with the desert as well.
Although there's ample cell network coverage, this is an amazing place to unplug, relax, and disconnect from the distractions of the everyday, and with that in mind we've established a "Wi-fi Free Zone." In a pinch, though, there are plenty of nice cafes, galleries, and spots nearby with public wi-fi.
Be respectful of the house and the neighbors, no fires/ fireworks outdoors, and try not to throw *totally* outrageous parties.
Help the environment -- please no bottled water (bring your own reuseables or you can borrow one !) ;*
Don't pet the wildlife!
Pack out what you pack in. Theres no garbage pickup out here :)
