I want my guests to feel at home but also to respect the place and leave it as tidy as possible when they leave. Do their washing up and put their rubbish in recycling bins provided . Good if they do not move the furniture.
Helpful if they do not make too much noise after 10.0pm as there are other people living next door. We have dogs and a cat so we do not want any more animals other than guide dogs.
We live in open country surrounded by woods and lawns and amazing daffodils at the moment. We are within walking distance of Clonter theatre which we started 43 yrs ago. Our buildings are on an original Saxon site.
There are lots of interesting places to visit in this area including Capesthorne Hall,Biddulph grange gardens, Rode Hall and Arley Hall and gardens. Little Moreton Hall which is a unique Black and white building with moat,herb garden and courtyard, I could not believe my eyes the first time i saw it.
Do as you would be done by is my motto. I like and am interested in people and hope to make them enjoy their time with us. I make sure they have everything they need and expect , have a brief chat and then leave them to
enjoy their stay. we are next door for any emergency or queries.We have a busy and interesting life linked to our theatre and music. We can cater with locally sourced food if required. We have a restaurant in our theatre on production days. Shopping can be done in advance of a visit if required.
