Our house is a short walk to the centre of the city, on a quiet street. The north of the city, where we live, has a variety of things going on, as well as an interesting mixture of people from different walks of life. We like meeting new people too!
The room is light and airy. The window is south facing and looks out over our garden, a pleasant spot for breakfast on spring and summer mornings. The room has a comfortable double bed and a small desk. The bathroom is shared with us, but is next to the Air B and B room.
Our house is about a fifteen minute walk from the centre of the city with its wide variety of pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. There is plenty to see and do within easy reach - riverside walks, cycle paths, parks, museums, art galleries, cinemas and exhibitions.
Breakfast is included in the price; help yourself to cereals, toast, coffee (we have instant decaf too) and teas. We usually have fruit. You are welcome to use the kitchen as well as the TV and computer - Wifi is available throughout the house. Iron available - please ask. There is plenty of on street parking; you may need to buy a 'scratch card' permit (£1 a day) but talk to us about parking options as there is also some free overnight parking on the street.
There are a range of pubs and takeaways close to our house as well as small supermarket, corner shops and parks. The train station is about thirty minutes walk away, the coach station a bit less. We are happy to help you with directions and advice about things to see and do in the area.
We look forward to welcoming you to our house!
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen to cook and prepare food - you might need to discuss timings with us in the evenings, though we usually cook quite early. There is also a television and computer with a guest account - if you need it please ask.

If we are not around we can arrange access for guests at any time of the day, so are totally flexible about check-in times.
Terri works from home sometimes but we are generally around in the evenings to chat and answer queries.
We also have two cycles which are sometimes available to hire Lock, helmet and panniers can be provided.
This is a fairly quiet house as we get up quite early for work.
My name is Tim and I have two children who are both now living independently. I have been teaching primary children for over 20 years and really love it. When not working I enjoy music, films, art, politics, conversation, cooking (and eating!).
Terri (my wife) is originally from Australia but we have both lived in Norfolk for over 20 years. Terri works in social housing and also writes, on the rare occasions time allows. One novel published so far... Since Terri's son left home last year for work and study it's just us the two living here.
We've been Air B and B hosts for over 3 years and have met a whole lot of great people in that time. We're happy to share our knowledge and experiences of Norwich and the area. Norwich is a great place to be; good movies at Cinema City, art exhibitions at the Sainsbury Centre, the coast close by, the UK's most used public library, a whole range of music and of course lots of good places to eat!
