Period home with high ceilings, exposed brick, and the comfiest bed in town. Located in the heart of North Melbourne's thriving cafe scene, you'll be close to great coffee and brunch, and you can walk to the Queen Vic Market, the CBD & Royal Park.
Our house was built in 1880 - so if you're looking to stay in a place with lots of character, you've just found it! The house is a traditional Victorian terrace house with exposed brick and an original fireplace (sorry it doesn't work though!). The main bedroom is cosy and quiet, and if you need more space, the lounge room can be easily shut off for use as a second bedroom, with a double sofa-bed and lots of extra bedding.
The kitchen may be compact but it has everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal with the fresh ingredients you've picked up at the nearby Queen Victoria Markets. Enjoy a BBQ or a coffee in our lovely back courtyard, where you might even catch a glimpse of the neighbourhood cat on the fence.
The bathroom has a tub with a new showerhead, and since the courtyard is very private you can even shower with the window open to soak up the sun and leafy green trees!
Everyone who comes over says our house is very cute and cosy - we hope you will love it too.
How about the best coffee in Melbourne? We're just a short walk away from the Auction Rooms, often voted as the home of Melbourne's best coffee. They brew it themselves, and trust us, it's good! Get a takeaway and come back to the house to enjoy over the newspaper (we get it delivered every weekend) or at the table in our cosy back courtyard. You'll also have access to Netflix, wifi, a BBQ, a washer and dryer, and a stocked kitchen.

As long as we're in range, drop us an email, text, or AirBnB message and we're happy to help you out with whatever you need. We can answer anything about the house, give you tips on where to get the best brunch and coffee, or anything else you might need.
Don't need us? No worries, we'll let you enjoy your stay in peace.
You'll sleep soundly - our front windows are made with a special noise-reducing glass, and we've had the windows and doors recently resealed. Beautiful plantation shutters also block out all of the light in the bedroom. And the bed is pretty much the comfiest in the whole world!
If you need more sleeping space, the lounge serves as a second bedroom with a double sofa bed.
There are two grocery stores just a short walk away, an IGA on Errol Street, and Foodworks on Queensberry Street.
Please treat our home like it's yours. No smoking indoors and make sure the doors are locked when you leave. Make yourself at home but please leave it as you found it. No extra guests and no animals.
Please feel free to use any food you find in the kitchen cupboards or the fridge/freezer - but please replace what you use so we don't come home to empty cupboards!
Please note that there are tight parking restrictions in the area - you're better off leaving the car at home, and with such great amenities near by, you won't need to drive. If you will be bringing a car, please get in touch and we can arrange some parking passes for your stay.
